What can I do in Nafplio in one day from a cruise ship?
You can stay close to town with a visit to Palamidi Fortress and time in the old streets, or explore further with a private tour to Mycenae and Epidaurus, Nemea wineries or a local honey experience. The best choice depends on how much time you have ashore and how you’d like to spend it.
Can I visit Palamidi Fortress without climbing all the steps?
Yes. If you’d rather skip the roughly 1,000 steps uphill, a climb that can take around 40–60 minutes, and the walk back down, we can transfer you by road to the fortress entrance and drive you back afterwards. You can still enjoy the views and explore the fortress, though there are steps and uneven surfaces inside.
Can I visit Mycenae and Epidaurus during my cruise stop?
Our private Mycenae and Epidaurus tour takes approximately 5–6 hours. Send us your arrival and required return times before booking so we can check whether it suits your cruise stop, including time to get ashore and return to your boarding point.
Where will I meet my driver?
We’ll confirm your meeting point in the Nafplio port area before your visit. If you’re arriving by tender boat, let us know so we can coordinate pickup around your expected arrival ashore.
Can I book a shore excursion for any group size?
We welcome solo travellers, couples, families and larger groups. Tell us how many people are travelling and we’ll help you plan transport to suit your group, subject to availability.
Will there be time for lunch or a walk around Nafplio?

How is the return time planned?
We agree on your planned return using the required boarding time you provide. Please share your ship’s all-aboard time and, where relevant, the last tender time, rather than only its departure time.
